Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California at the 9th of July 1983. Her first job was in the real estate business. It was through this that she met her future husband Tarek El Moussa. In 2008, following the crash of the stock market many investors in real estate and house flippers lost their money. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa were nearly bankrupted by the stock market crash in 2008. Their house was valued at $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 that they were paying per month for their house. They gradually rebuilt their business as well as the economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to develop an audition tape for HGTV featuring Christina flipping the property over from scratch. The tape ended up in the hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. The executives loved Tarek as well as Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a deal with HGTV. The show "Flip of Flop" was launched on April 13, 2013. The show aired 92 seasons between 2013 until 2017. The series featured Christina and Tarek purchasing properties located in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes so that they could sell the properties for a profits. Tarek handles construction, demolition and renovations. Christina keeps everything running on schedule.
