Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. The parents of Kristen Bell include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Bell was raised and from Huntington Woods Michigan. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent in the performing arts from a young stage. She went to her audition in 1992, and was then offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was cast as a model for advertisements on television and newspapers. Additionally, she began to take private acting classes. Bell was credited with a minor performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and musical club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the part as Dorothy. Bell attended an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater in New York City. in 2001 Bell left university to perform the part as Becky in Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part was cut and only the credits depict her. Bell played in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
